Scope
This SMS/MMS Texting Privacy & Terms (“Policy”) explains how Hunt Commercial & Housing communicates via text messages, what data is collected in connection with those messages, and your choices. This Policy applies to text messages sent by or on behalf of Hunt Commercial & Housing using local, toll-free, or short code numbers and covers residents, owners, vendors, prospects, and other contacts in the United States.
Program Description
Hunt Commercial & Housing operates one or more texting programs (the “SMS Program”) for:

Service & transactional messages: maintenance scheduling/updates, appointment reminders, property notices, account and billing alerts, verification codes.

Account & operational alerts: emergency notifications, policy updates, community notices.

Marketing & promotions (optional): availability updates, leasing specials, event invites. Marketing texts are sent only if you separately opt in.
Consent & Enrollment
By providing a mobile number to Hunt Commercial & Housing and opting in (for example, checking a box on a form, clicking a consent button, signing an agreement with a texting disclosure, texting a keyword to enroll, or verbally/writing asking us to text you and we record that request), you authorize Hunt Commercial & Housing to send SMS/MMS messages to the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase, lease, or service.

If you provide a mobile number for someone else, you must have authority to do so.

Message Frequency & Cost
Message frequency varies by user, property, and program. Some programs may be recurring. Message and data rates may apply. Delivery is subject to your mobile carrier network; mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opt-Out, Help, and Preferences

To stop receiving texts from Hunt Commercial & Housing, reply STOP at any time. Hunt Commercial & Housing also honors END, CANCEL, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE. You will receive a final confirmation message.

Data Retention

Hunt Commercial & Housing uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect SMS data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; risks remain inherent to electronic communications.
Eligibility & Geographic Scope
The SMS Program is intended for U.S. residents who are 18 years or older (or the age of majority in their state). Hunt Commercial & Housing does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 via SMS.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable law (for example, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah), you may have rights to:
